Daniel Valencia

CEO

Daniel is a social impact entrepreneur driven by a passion for creating win-win opportunities that connect exceptional Latin American talent with thriving US businesses.

In 2023, he founded Global Team, a remote staffing agency that is transforming the way companies scale and professionals grow. This dual-impact approach fuels economic growth in Latin America while empowering US entrepreneurs to achieve their goals with a global workforce.

Daniel’s journey began with his own experiences building successful businesses in Florida, where he intuitively tapped into the vast potential of Latin American professionals. Recognizing the transformative power of remote work and cross-cultural collaboration, he set out to create a platform that unlocks opportunities for both individuals and organizations.

Ignacio Rojas

Co-Founder

Ignacio co-founded Touch in 2006 while still in university, a company dedicated to providing talent to the retail industry. Under his leadership, Touch expanded its operations to Peru, Mexico, and Colombia, employing over 4,000 people across these countries.

In 2021, Ignacio founded Zeemo, a corporate communication and engagement platform that quickly grew to serve over 45,000 users. This experience further deepened his expertise at the intersection of technology and human resources.

Laura García Lima

Content Marketing Specialist

Over 13 years of experience in the digital marketing industry, Laura has honed her skills in creating engaging and effective marketing strategies.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages and another in Marketing, which laid a strong foundation for her career in digital marketing. Furthering her expertise, she earned a Master’s degree in Management and International Trade from the Sorbonne in France.

This diverse educational background has equipped her with a unique blend of linguistic skills and business acumen, allowing her to navigate the complexities of global markets with ease.

Adriana Puelma

Talent Acquisition and People Manager

Adriana Puelma is a Psychologist, Coach, and Human Talent Management Specialist with over eight years of experience in human development processes, talent acquisition and evaluation, facilitation of training programs, coaching, team interventions, and capacity-building.

Nicolás Benavides

Designer

Nicolás is a seasoned multimedia designer with a strong foundation in animation. With over 5 years of experience, he has honed his skills in motion graphics, video editing, and 2D animation.

As a skilled designer, Nicolás excels in creating visually compelling content that effectively communicates messages. His proficiency in different tools allows him to seamlessly bring his creative vision to life.

From Personal Experience to Global Impact

Daniel, an entrepreneur with roots in Latin America, moved to Boston, MA, in 2016 for business school and later settled in Miami, where he now calls home.

While scaling several businesses in the hospitality industry, he intuitively built his back-office teams with talented professionals from Latin America. He recognized their exceptional skills, cultural alignment, and unwavering work ethic. It was also deeply fulfilling to see the transformative impact remote work had on his team members – enabling them to avoid long commutes, enjoy more productive time with family, and work in a stable economy.

This competitive advantage, coupled with the positive change he witnessed in his team’s lives, ignited a spark. Daniel realized he could help more people in Latin America experience the benefits of remote work while empowering US businesses with top-tier talent. In a bold move, he spun off his HR team and launched Global Team in 2023, dedicated to creating a bridge between exceptional Latin American professionals and US entrepreneurs seeking to scale their businesses.

A Shared Vision for a Bigger Future

The impact of Global Team exceeded expectations, fueling a desire to create something even more profound. In early 2024, Ignacio Rojas joined as co-founder, adding his expertise and passion to the mission.

Together, they envision a vibrant community of 10,000 “Globers” – talented individuals who transcend borders, thrive in a high-achievement culture, and embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth. Daniel strongly believes in living life by design rather than by default, and this philosophy is deeply ingrained in the culture of Global Team.
